From one-on-one tech help for seniors to STEM labs for underprivileged students, our programs are designed to bridge generations and open doors through digital literacy.
Designed to help senior citizens navigate the digital world through interaction and instruction, STEM Outreach teaches seniors a variety of technology skills, from the everyday basics most of us take for granted (calling, texting, video chatting) to confident, independent use of their devices.
Interactive, hands-on workshops for underprivileged students covering coding, chemistry, robotics, and engineering basics. We meet learners where they are and spark curiosity through experiments, projects, and group challenges that make STEM feel approachable and exciting.
Our program model is built around a 1:1 volunteer-to-senior ratio, recruiting students from nearby schools so every senior gets individual attention and help tailored to them. At the end of each session, printed handouts cover topics like calling, texting, Zoom, Skype, and iPad settings, so the learning continues at home.
In America alone, 4.2 million people live in poverty and lack access to basic education. We host community fundraisers, bake sales, school drives, and sponsored workshops, to put devices and digital-literacy programs directly into the hands of those who need them most.
One-on-one tutoring in math and science, available both in person and online, so students can get help that fits their schedule. To date we've reached over 1,000 seniors across 50+ topics, with 150+ volunteers contributing more than 800 hours of mentorship.
Whether you're a school, senior facility, or community partner or you'd like to join as a volunteer we'd love to hear from you.
